If you’re a fan of Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers and live in Spring, Texas, you’re in for a treat. The latest Mellow Mushroom to open will be at the corner of Cypresswood Drive and Stuebner Airline Road. This new Mellow Mushroom opens on September 17th. Owners Todd and Kathy Molyneux are exited to bring Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers to Spring, maybe even more excited than Mellow Mushroom fans who have been waiting for the restaurant to arrive.
For those who have yet to have a Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers experience, the menu consists of pizzas, hoagies, calzones, salads and appetizers. The menu also includes options for vegans, vegetarians, kids and those who are on a gluten-free diet. Mellow Mushroom goes out of their way to satisfy all customers.
Another thing the customer gets with Mellow Mushroom is a unique restaurant in every city. There is no cookie cutter mold for their pizzerias. Each restaurant has a local feel, going so far as to hire local artists to decorate each one. The Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers in Spring has employed three Houston area artists to create a theme for this pizzeria around Led Zeppelin and the Goodyear Blimp, which had it’s home base in Spring for quite a long time.
The Houston area artists who created the theme are Katherine Kearns a.k.a. Katsola, Daniel Anguilu and Mark Bradford.
