Every year, Entrepreneur Magazine names its Top 500 Franchises in the United States. These franchises range from Motel 6 and Batteries Plus to franchises such as Jazzercize and Merry Maids.
This year, one of our favorite pizzerias made the list. Coming in at #379 was Sam & Louie’s New York Pizzeria. They are based out of Omaha Nebraska. They opened their first restaurant in 1994 and there are now 22 Sam & Louie’s New York Pizzerias in four states (Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota & Montana). Making this list is a BIG DEAL! Be impressed with what is happening! Just by looking at their franchising details, one important fact stands out for those interested in beginning a franchise. One of the most impressive things about this top 500 franchises list and Sam & Louie’s entering it is the company they’re keeping. There are some impressive long time pizza franchises on the list. Only 17 pizza franchises of 10 or more units made the top 500, among them were Pizza Hut, Papa John’s Pizza Ranch, CiCi’s and Hungry Howie’s.
